Have you ever gotten to witness a spectacular love story in real life? I hope so! Lucky for me, I have. Nate, Elizabeth and I met on our first day of college at Northwestern University in St. Paul. Elizabeth and I were freshmen and Nate was our orientation leader: the first friendly face we saw on campus.

Elizabeth wasn’t planning on dating during her first year of college but plans quickly changed when she met Nate. The two of them hit it off right away and became instantly inseparable. Elizabeth and I lived across the hall from each other and went on lots of crazy adventures with Nate that you’d expect from college kids.

Fast forward 8 years and Nate and Elizabeth are happily married, settling into their first home and welcoming their baby boy to the world. My guy Tony and I were thrilled to meet Fitzwilliam and take a couple casual family pictures of them at home. I’m so grateful for these incredible friends, and I can’t wait to watch little Fitz grow up.
