Outdoor Lakeville wedding | Dwight & Lisa

Most weddings make me cry at least once. It’s true. I’ve mastered taking photos through slightly blurry vision at times. Getting to witness two different stories and families joining together in love always makes my heart pitter patter like crazy.

However, it was two unexpected moments that got the tears flowing at Dwight and Lisa’s wedding. They both have children from different marriages and they wanted their wedding to represent everybody joining together as a big, happy family. Lisa is officially adopting Dwight’s daughter Alexandria within a couple months because her biological mom passed away.

During the ceremony, they presented the kids with gorgeous Pandora bracelets adorned with meaningful charms to welcome everyone to the family. Smiles and sniffles resonated from the guests as they got to be included in this touching moment.

The speeches were the other tear-jerker moment for me. Before dinner, they passed around the microphone and welcomed anyone who wanted a chance to get up and speak. It was amazing to see the love and support that continually poured out for Dwight and Lisa from the people they love the most.

Their kids, relatives and friends all stood up to express their happiness at Dwight and Lisa’s marriage. The continuing theme was, “We are so grateful you found each other. We’ve never seen Lisa this happy.” After some really bad relationships, Lisa had given up hope in guys until she met Dwight and his irresistible smile.

Thanks for giving me a front row seat to your incredible story! I’m beyond grateful I got to be a part of it.

Cheers to many happy years together!
