Max and Patra are amazing. Seriously. They are fun, free-spirited, joyful and so incredibly in love- all of the things that I love most about my Lumos Couples. I wasn’t planning on taking any weddings for August and September because of my own wedding, but when I met them we just clicked, and I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding.

They’re getting married at the gorgeous Golden Oak Farm where they both work. The venue was started by Max’s parents and they’ve been doing weddings there for a few years now.

Max and Patra had their first date at Boom Island Brewing so naturally that is where they wanted their Adventure Session to take place. The taproom manager Jim is the friendliest guy and rolled out the red carpet for these two. He made sure everything was set up and looked great and pointed out some great spots to take photos.

I hope you can see from the photos what amazing love these two have for each other. They clearly make each other so incredibly happy. They are filled with joy when they’re around each other and easily make each other laugh. I can’t wait for their wedding in a couple weeks!!!!
