My parents made the move to Cape Coral, Florida from Minnesota last summer and they’ve been loving it there! So much so that my little brother moved there as well in December. I am so happy for them that they escaped the cold but I realllyyy miss them!
Tony and I went to visit in December and we made plans to visit again in April but this time with my sweet grandma along for the ride! She is 84 years old and up for any adventure! We love her so much and it was awesome to show her all of the sights of Southwest Florida.
I am going to start shooting weddings in Southwest Florida, especially during the Minnesota winters when things are slower here. If you know anyone planning a Florida wedding, let me know and I’m there 🙂
It was so good to be reunited with my family and also my childhood pup Kato who is now 13!!! It’s crazy how time flies…
- There are groups of manatees living in my parent’s LITERAL backyard. What on earth!!!!!
- We checked out Sanibel’s awesome Farmer’s Market. I swear, if I lived in Florida I would do my grocery shopping here every week! It was wonderful!
- My mom knows me well! Instead of getting me a traditional birthday cake, she got me a fruit tart! Such a treat 🙂
- Beach days were definitely my biggest priority for this trip and we got lots of nice ones! We even rented a boat for a day to explore. After a longgggg MN winter, it felt so good to get out on the water!
- My grandma is the cutest! She slept on a pull out bed in my dad’s office and we were all laughing about the “grandma in the zoo!” She is such a good sport about everything and really got a laugh out of it.
- Cigars with my dad and brother is always a must- them with their legit cigars and me with my black and milds and swisher sweets 🙂
