Turtle’s 1890 Social Centre Wedding | Beer themed wedding Philip & Brianna

Thousands of miles, countless hours in the car, so many texts and calls, tons of laughs over craft beers during their limited in-person time together . . .

After 6 years of a mostly long distance relationship, Brianna and Philip are officially married!

Brianna walked the long, winding path through the park with her parents on each side of her. When she got close to Philip who was waiting eagerly with his back turned, Brianna’s parents hung back and she excitedly walked up and tapped him on the shoulder. As Philip turned and saw his beautiful bride for the first time, they both laughed and hugged each other.

Almost immediately, Philip exclaimed, “Look, there’s an otter!” and pointed to the nearby pond. He wrapped his arm around her, and together they happily watched the otter swim around as they soaked in the moment of finally being together on their wedding day.

They have two cats (who were represented on their wedding day as super cute cake toppers) and both grew up around horses and love animals so it’s only fitting one joined them spontaneously for their first look.

The day started with rain and thunder, but the sun started popping out during their ceremony, particularly when the officiant said the word love as Philip’s mom noted during her speech at the reception.

The day was infused with their personality all around- like the beer pouring unity ceremony and the growlers that were used as reception centerpieces.

The relaxed vibe of the day was very fitting to this sweet, laid back couple. That vibe carried throughout the reception as they drank beer and spent the night laughing and dancing with their closest family and friends. And to top it all off, there was a gorgeous sunset where they got to get away from the hustle and bustle of the day to soak in a couple romantic moments making each other laugh.
